EL DISEĆADOR
Hola hola, mi nombre es Cat(harina) y
Soy un holandƩs que vive en la jungla de MƩxico.
Mi marca naciĆ³ de mi amor por MĆ©xico. Por eso tambiĆ©n sigo abasteciĆ©ndome en todo el paĆs: porque me encanta descubrir nuevos materiales.
TĆ©cnicas y artesanos.
Con una licenciatura en diseƱo y la pasiĆ³n por MĆ©xico, he buscado crear piezas sustentables, Ćŗnicas y hechas a mano. La paleta de colores de Jaguarita son tonos tierra y negro, y Ćŗnicamente materiales 100% naturales (lino, algodĆ³n, cuero, seda, lana). Jaguarita es una fusiĆ³n de la cultura mexicana con la simplicidad del diseƱo europeo.
Estoy creando mientras intento dejar un impacto positivo en el planeta diseƱando slowfashion multifuncional y de calidad, una creaciĆ³n a la vez.

DESIGN
We believe in co-creating - teamwork makes the dream work. The designs are made by us and we work together with local artisans all around Mexico that are experts in their field of craft, together we create the unique pieces.
SOURCING
Every couple of months I head out for sourcing trips to Chiapas, Oaxaca and Queretaro to visit the artisans we work together with and to source new materials.
To me it's very important to keep doing this in order to keep close with the local people and to keep getting inspired by the culture and all the things I see. I capture the sourcing through photos and videos to show where the final products essentially are coming from.. You can check these out on IG stories under -gira- (=tour)
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Every piece is handcrafted and a unique piece. We only work with natural materials due to environmental reasons. For clothing this means only - linen, wool and cotton. The hat straps are all made out of cotton, leather or glass. And the accessories are all made out of wood, leather and palm leaf.
